She must have been a beautiful woman in every which way, judging by the family she left behind her.

My Dearest Barbara,  My life would not have been the same should I have had to travel it without your guidance, friendship and love.  You are forever locked in my heart and in my memory bank.  Not a day goes by that I do not walk into the office and glance at where you spent your days.  Where you taught me about way more than real estate.  The items now on my desk that where yours that I use daily to keep your memory top of my mind.  Especially your magnifying glass.  This one is special.  You would pick it up and say "Your laughing now. " One day you'll be looking for this tool too. When the world gets blurry.  Wow, were  you right about that one.  And let's not forget the life lessons you so lovingly shared with me over the 21 plus years as (office)  mother and daughter.   You were more than my mentor, you were my Office Mom.  A title I so lovingly gave you right from the beginning.  Though you swore we were the same age  :)    You put me in my place on more than one occasion yet had my back every moment of every day.  That's where the Mom title came from.    Barb,  when I ended each visit with
" I will love you forever and a day",  I meant it.   You are missed.

So sorry for the loss of your mom, Cheryl. 

Barbara and I had been fond friends for many, many years going back to the Fifties.  She and I shared a very special relationship throughout our long friendship.  I miss her but hope to meet one day at my Star way out in a far off constellation, where we will share happy memories.
