

Barry was the beloved husband of Doris, with whom he shared a beautiful love story that began when they met in Franklin Square and continued through 58 wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering support.
Those who knew Barry would describe him as compassionate, devoted, generous, hardworking, honest, resilient, and selfless. He had a gift for telling it like it was, always with sincerity and heart. His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did.
Barry is survived by his loving children: Timothy and his wife Laura, Kathleen Gatto, and Robert. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Cody (Lea), Cheyenne, Dallas (Marissa), Savannah, and Alyssa, and a cherished great-grandfather to Ryan, Rowan, Molly, Novalee, Dallas Jr and Addison.
He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Yvette Tehan and her husband Terry, Nicole, and Dawn Erato and her husband Vincent.
Barry is reunited in eternal rest with his beloved sister, Maureen Whitsell, who predeceased him.
A skilled auto mechanic by trade, Barry had a lifelong passion for cars. He was an accomplished race car driver who loved building engines and working on vehicles. His talent, dedication, and love for the craft were well known and admired by many.
Above all, Barry will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend. His strength, kindness, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
