Darlene Rose Newman

Darlene Rose Newman, 63 was the baby of five children born to the late Lillian and Paul Newman. She entered into the world on July 19, 1955. Our baby sister went home to be with our Lord and Savior in the morning hours of Friday June 21st.

Baby sister Darlene graduated from High School and attended Katherine Gibbs Business School and the Fashion Institute in New York City.

Our baby sister married and divorced two husbands, both doctors.

Baby sister Darlene was stricken down by a hateful disease Multiple Sclerosis. Baby sister battled this disease to the end.

Survivors; two brothers Marvin Newman, Master Plumber and heating and Mark Newman, retired electrician of Local Union #3 I.B.E.W., cousins, nieces and nephews, and one precious aunt Swede Towe.

Baby sister Darlene will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Darlene will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764. Interment to follow Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Road, Mount Sinai, NY 11766.
