Elizabeth “Betsy” Smith (nee Albany) of Coram, New York passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 65. Originally of Wallingford, PA, she was the devoted wife of the late Frederick; loving mother of sons Alexander and Nicholas (Bridget); proud new grandmother of Landon, Austin, and Zachary; loving sister of Ruth Ann (Edward) Rogers and George (Jeni) Albany; and cherished daughter of George A. and Ruth (nee Goodly) Albany. Betsy was a proud retiree after over three decades of air traffic control at NY Center in Ronkonkoma. She was a caring friend and happily dedicated provider of Meals on Wheels out of Port Jefferson. Betsy is resting peacefully after enjoying so much of her life watching her sons at the hockey rink and baseball field or yelling at the Philadelphia Eagles (and Fred). Reposing at O.B. Davis Funeral Home 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY on Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Prayer Service Saturday 10am at O.B. Davis with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park in Mt. Sinai.
