Joan Maniaci

Joan was married to her beloved husband, Frank, for 53 wonderful years. Together, they raised their children and built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Joan was affectionately known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren, who adored and cherished her deeply.

For over 20 years, Joan worked as a dedicated bank teller at Suffolk County National Bank in Port Jefferson, where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for others.

Joan loved visiting the casino and playing games with her family. A talented crafter, Joan found great happiness in creating beautiful handmade items. She was an active member of the Miller Place Homemakers community.

Joan is survived by her devoted husband, Frank; her loving children, Wendy (Bobby) King, Christine (Eric) Haas, Frank (Wende) Maniaci, and Joanmarie (Patrick) Schreiber; and her adored grandchildren, William, Brendan, Bobby, Emilia, Samuel, Bridget, and Harrison. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Johanna; her sister, Kathy; and her brother, Jimmy.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 8:15 PM.

A committal service will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
