We will miss seeing you at the red mill pond pool in lewes Delaware; they were fun times. We enjoyed talking about our Long Island connection. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this trying time.

Our condolences to John’s family. We are blessed to be part of a caring community here at RMP. We did not know John well but have enjoyed occasional friendly chats at the pool or our clubhouse. Always a loss when we lose one of our friends in or neighborhood.

So so sorry for your loss,  John was an amazing family man, and loved you all deeply.  
Please find comfort  knowing that he is resting in peace.

I delivered  Johns mail until he moved to Delaware.  He was excited about  the move to the no tax state!  I am very sad to hear about his passing because  the loss will leave a void in the hearts to all that knew him, especially his daughters, brothers and family.  He was a great guy with a big smile. Rest in peace John, it was a pleasure to have known you.

Dad, you remember the time when you and mom were at a party down the road from our house on Drake Rd and you pretended to break into the house to scare the daylights out of us? I remember hearing you laughing from outside when I called mom in a panic.  And as the worst secret keeper in the world, every year on my birthday you would tell me what I was getting as a present..."it's got two handlebars and spokes and it's parked in the backyard but that's all I can say....don't tell your mother". Let's not forget the sound of you cracking ice on a Sunday morning at 6 am, waking everyone up in the house.  These obscure, weird memories of you I will never forget because it's what made you, YOU! That's my dad: the loud, crazy jokester who always wants to make people laugh.  

Unfortunately, in a couple days, we will have our first Father's Day without you.  The day in which we would call you and you would remind us how lucky we are to have you as a father. :)

 We are lucky because you and Mom made Jen and I who we are today - I hope you're proud (which I know you are) and never stop watching over us.  You and mom are both somewhere else now and I am not sure how we will navigate life without our parents but we have no choice but to figure it out.  I promise you, we will be okay.  Eventually.  

Sleep easy my Papa, until we meet again.  I love you.

In 1994 we bought our home in Mastic Beach, across from John.  We moved in on Saturday - worked like dogs and tried to sleep in on Sunday.  That did not happen because on Sunday morning at 6am John was up, playing a Beatles song very loudly with all the windows open because it was June.  He was singing louder than if the Beatles were in concert.  
We did not appreciate it that day.  
What we did come to appreciate was the good neighbor we got.  The first neighbor who walked over the morning after I had my first daughter , Michelle, and scooped her right up in his arms.  He loved my girls.  He was a good friend and neighbor.  I remember surprising him with a 50th Birthday party at my house.  It was a great night.  I’m sure he’s singing above 

John was always up to fun.  We met at Red Mill Pond Community.  Always a hoot down by the Clubhouse pool.  John may you Rest Easy in Perpetual Light and Peace.  


I met John at Red Mill Pond in DE.  One of my memories is that he was always up and had a good time. We had many socials at our clubhouse and he enjoyed being around everyone. He also liked going in the pool and enjoyed talking to lots of people. John was a jokester. I was so sorry to hear he passed away and really didn’t see him since we were in lockdown. My sympathy to his family. 

John was a regular at the pool in our development and was always a pleasure to speak with. He always talked about his family in New York and loved all of the visits.My condolences 

Johnny you were definitely a one of a kind soul.  I will never forget you.  How could anyone? Really.  Thank you for always being unapologetically you, wildly hysterical and for gracing this world with two amazing daughters.  Please go easy on Sally and tell her we all miss her and love her very much.  You will be forever missed and in our hearts.

We are so sad to hear of John’s passing. He was a very kind & generous man who went out of his way to make everyone in the neighborhood laugh and feel welcome. We will miss his friendly face here in Lewes.
Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time.
Rest In Peace, John. We will share a toast with you tonight.
