Salvatore Bellavia

Beloved husband of Virginia Bellavia (née Meskill) for 63 years. Loving father of Cecilia Doolittle (Kevin), Geraldine Nigg (Clemens), Jacqueline Bellavia, Salvatore Bellavia (Maureek), and Regina Bellavia-Pepper (Charles). Best Pop Pop of Salvatore Bellavia, Kelsi Doolilttle, Sean Nigg, McKenzi Doolittle, Shannon Ballantyne (Sha Ka), and Giorgio Bellavia.

Salvatore was an educator in the Shoreham Wading River School District and owner/proprietor of Franchised Distributors of Ridge, NY for over 55 years. A United States Army veteran and an active VFW member, in retirement would sell American flags outside Calverton National Cemetery or Sam's Club and donate the proceeds to his local post. With an infectious smile and love for life and family, Salvatore was truly a man loved by all.

A visitation for Salvatore will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 and Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St Louis de Montfort RC Church, 75 New York Avenue, Sound Beach, New York 11789. Interment with Army honors to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
