Cherished grandfather of Jennifer DeGorter and her husband Brian, Gary Wunsch Jr. and his wife Carolyn, Christopher Wunsch and his wife Catherine, Daniel Calleja and his wife Gina, Carissa Calder and her husband Robert, Robert Calleja, Leah DiNicola and her husband Anthony, Nicole Neville and her husband Matt and Amanda Muse and her husband James. Proud great grandfather of Brian James DeGorter, Matthew DeGorter, Adam DeGorter, Cara Wunsch, Emery Calleja, Ziyah Calder, Kyla Neville, Kasen Neville and Arabella Muse.

Funeral Mass Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Frances Cabrini R.C. Church, 134 Middle Country Road, Coram, NY 11727. Interment with Army Honors to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933.
