Thomas H. Hicks

The son of Howell C. Hicks and Jennie E. Hicks, born in Glen Cove N.Y., Brother to Adelaide Leake, Marie Crowe, Charles Everett Hicks, Howell Hicks, John Hicks, Robert Hicks and Peter Hicks who graciously preceded him.

Thomas was an honorably discharged Sergeant who served in the 101st Airborne division "Screaming Eagles" of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Thomas was a successful electronics engineer, published writer in numerous trade magazines, and an entrepreneur in the printed circuit board industry.

His favorite pastime was playing golf with his sons and grandsons, enjoying watching his oldest sons band play beautiful music and loved every minute he spent with all of his grandchildren he adored so much and he always wished the time with them never ended.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 56 glorious years, Beverly; his sons Gregory, Stephen and his wife Thecla and Jason and his wife Krista. Thomas is also the brother of his surviving siblings Janet Hicks, Frederick Hicks and his wife Ruby, Henry "Hank" Hicks, David Hicks and his wife Janice. Thomas is also the loving grandfather of Amber, Mariah, Devin, Kayla, Danielle, and Jason Jr. He is the great-grandfather of little Virgil. He is also the uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly as he loved them all dearly.

Visitation is private and for immediate family only due to the current pandemic.
