Vincent A. Ricciardi Jr.

Vincent A Ricciardi of North Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on July 6, 2023. Vin, as he was known as, was born on June 27, 1961 in Yonkers, NY to Vincent and Rose (Della Medaglia). Vin graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers NY. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and upon separation decided to continue his military career and enlisted in the New York Air National Guard. Vin retired from his military career in 2003 and started his personal training studio, Total Body Shoppe which he operated for 12 years in Southold NY. Vin was also active in the Southold Fire Department where he was a Volunteer EMT. He retired and moved to North Las Vegas in June 2012.

Vin enjoyed gardening, growing his roses and herbs. He also had a passion for cooking and jokingly referred to his meals coming fresh from the garden to the table at his fictitious Vincenzo’s Veranda. He was an avid book reader and donated all the books he read to a local book store. He was a true New York sports fan loving his NY Yankees and his NY Jets.

Vin is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Rose Ricciardi and is survived by his wife, Jamie (Hartman), sons Anthony (Laura), Andrew, Douglas(Liz) and daughter Kristen. His beloved grandchildren, Noah, Dean, Donnie, Landon and granddaughters Rosalie and Malia. He is also survived by brothers Antimo (June), Michael (Dawn) and sister Rosie (Jay) along with their families.

Viewing will be held at OB Davis Funeral Home on July 23, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm with full military honors. Burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery on July 24 2023 at 11:30am

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Vin’s name to a local animal shelter, animal rescue organization or guiding eyes for the blind. Vin was an avid dog lover.

The family of Vin wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the North Las Vegas Fire and Ambulance Station 56 and the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Southern Nevada and the many friends, family and neighbors who assisted us during our time of need.
