Passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Brooklyn Park, MN. Alvin was born in rural Glidden WI township. Formerly of Minneapolis, MN. Preceded in death by wife, Elouise Stoltz; parents, Peter and Frances Stoltz; and brothers, Leonard, Stanley, and Peter Stoltz. He is survived by children, Robert (Vivian) Stoltz and Debra (Kevin) Ivens; second wife, Leona Walsh Stoltz; her children; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Alvin enjoyed working with wood and was employed in the cabinet and display industry. Al loved solving crossword puzzles and was known for his quick wit and ability to deliver a joke. He and Lee loved cabin life, dancing, traveling together, and meeting friends for lunch. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 7031 Halifax Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
