He fought bravely against pancreatic cancer and passed away peacefully. Bryan leaves behind cherished memories of his generosity, humor and unwavering love for family, friends and especially his wife Emily, who was his true love and greatest source of strength and happiness.
Known to many as “Rosey” and “Kid”, Bryan led a remarkable life full of kindness and laughter. He loved music, and played guitar in numerous bands, gathering lifelong friends along the way. Bryan was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Gophers, Vikings, Twins and Red Sox. True to his nickname, he was a kid at heart and awesomely bright; he loved movies and television, reading, puzzles, games, and his trivia skills were second to none. He had cherished memories of The Gunflint Trail, fishing with his brother and escaping on many many trips to the beloved shores of Lake Superior.
Bryan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Milt and Millie Holmgren and grandmother Sylvia Rosenau. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Emily; parents Paul and Sharon Rosenau; brother Blake (Laurie) Rosenau; his lifelong best friend, Matt (Sima) Misgen; and countless other family and friends.
We will miss his quick wit, his generous heart, his incredible smile and his infectious laugh.
