Carol Hazel Rundle

Carol married Richard R Rundle on 1/10/61 and they were blessed with four children Scott, Sherrie, Deanna, & Mark.

Carol worked as a nursing assistant after graduating from Technical College. She had a heart for serving others, especially the elderly, and made a career doing Foster Elder Care for 22 years. She enjoyed watching auto racing, spicy food, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by; daughter Sherrie (Kevin) Avery and their children Joshua (Brianna) Wright, Hannah (Adam) Wright, Jacob Wright, London (Grant) Schouten, Garret (Elizabeth) Avery; daughter Deanna (Ronald) Newland and their children RJ (Corin) Newland, Kevin (Sammy) Newland, and Rosie Newland; Grandson Adam (Angela) Rundle; Grandson Tyler Rundle; Granddaughter Julia Rundle; and 16 great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law; Judy (Anderson) Rundle.

Carol was a special “Mumsie” to Joseph Hughes; and a special aunt to Debra (John) Dixson.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Harold & Marie Wick, husband Dick Rundle, and sons Scott and Mark Rundle.

Carol has asked that you honor her memory by taking time to acknowledge the elderly by giving them a friendly phone call, visit, or even better by bringing them a shake.

A Celebration of Life for Carol will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 2250 St Anthony Boulevard NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418. Visitation one hour prior. A committal service will occur following the service at Sunset Cemetery.
