Donald Eugene Dahlberg

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Gothfred & Flora Dahlberg; his loving wife of over 54 years, Beverly (Peterson) Dahlberg, and sisters Violet and Frances Dahlberg.

Donald is loved and fondly remembered by his son, William Dahlberg (Lori); daughters, Shelley (Tom) Monteleone, Kimberly Gray, and Dawn Dahlberg. He is also loved and missed by his grandchildren, Travis and Sarah Dahlberg, Samuel, Eloise, Anna, and Jonah Dahlberg, Richard (Christine), Kathryn, and Joshua (Grace) Shade, and Nicholas Gray. Donald was also delighted to have been blessed with great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jaicion Dahlberg, and Sena and Eugene Shade. Further survived by his brother, LaVern Dahlberg;

Donald was a Korean war veteran, having served in the US Army.

Donald worked for the State of Minnesota for over 30 years.

Don loved sports; especially Vikings football. Please feel free to wear your favorite sports jersey as we celebrate his life.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, and one hour prior to the Celebration of Life at 11 am. in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 12pm. Sunset Funeral Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Mpls. Entombment Sunset Cemetery. Minneapolis, MN, immediately after the service.
