I am sorry to say that I did not know Elaine well, even though we are cousins. I have not seen her many times since I moved to California in 1977. The last time I saw her was at my mother's funeral in 2010. Elaine was a great comfort at that time. (Her mother and mine were sisters.)  I am glad to read of her devotion to Jesus.  I know I will see her again.

Where to start. I met Elaine even before I met my husband. I worked at Fleet Farm in 1999 and 2000. She wad always kind and sweet to me. Later that year I met my husband Tom who happened to be best friends with Rob. So I got to see Elaine a lot more. We always enjoyed playing Wii with Elaine, hanging out at their house, she and Denis would come with Rob to a few of our parties, then to our kid's parties. Elaine made crosses for our wedding, angels for our business cards. Seriously could her heart be any bigger? Elaine we loved you so much. Thank you for all the beautiful memories and the love you shared! xoxo

Denis and Family,
I will always remember Elaine's beautiful smile and her laugh.  I am so thankful that you both were able to be a part of our Bible Study group.  You both added so much to our discussions of the Bible.  Now I know that Elaine is in heaven with Jesus getting all those difficult questions answered.  Praying for all of you in this time of loss.  May you feel the comfort that our Savior Jesus Christ gives!

My Heart is saddened because I lost a truly wonderful friend. I will miss you my hugging friend, forever and ever. My prayers go out to Denis and the family, I know how much she loved her family and the grandchildren were her everything. She will be missed by so many people, and the family all know how much we all loved her. My two sons in HEAVEN, will be there to show her around and I know they will love her as much as we all do down here on earth.  Sam and Scotty, please take good care of my wonderful friend, and she will love you both forever.

Elaine was such a dear sweet woman and a wonderful friend.  She always had a bright smile and a hug when I saw her.  It saddens me to think of Denis getting along without her.  I am praying for him and the whole family at this difficult time.

Elaine was such a great person. She will be missed by all and will be remembered on our camping trips.She was looking forward to more mobility after her knee replacement so she could go do more camping. Will remeber our South Dakota trip last year together with such fond memories.

So sorry for Denis and the whole Husnik family. We've lost a true dear friend. Betty and I will miss Elaine terribly.

Elaine lived her life for others, especially her family.   She was the most giving, kindhearted, loving person... a true angel.   I will miss her smile, and her laugh!   

One of the most wonderful women I have had the luck to know. Always ready with a hug and a laugh, she will be missed by everybody that knew her.
