Mom,
Reflecting on mass from yesterday,  I remember Father Jim saying you would pray to Mother Mary of God. Teach your children things to pass on to the next generation. I've told you before and I will say it every time I do these things.  Thank you for teaching me sewing, cooking (pasties I think I have the feel down, no measuring), gardening ( I won't forget about the banana peel) dancing, raising children(take a picture you'll laugh about it later), and there is so much more, but most of all respect yourself and others.  Mom you are and always be my rock.  I Love you & miss you. Rest peacefully in the arms of The Lord.

Dear Pulkka and Harris Families,
It saddened me to hear of your Mom's passing but quickly she brought a smile to my face remembering her chaperoning skills when we were kids in the St. Lawrence Band. In DC and New York she was one of the best! All those parades we marched, there she was right along with us squirting water in our dry mouths, keeping an eye out for kids ready to pass out and those darn pea shooters in the crowd she would chase. Then, when we would jam after a parade how she laughed and danced and sang and maybe have a beer or two. She is watching over all of you still. Bless you and God be with you.

Dee -  I can't express how much it meant to me that you treated me and my boys like family. Your kindness and generosity was extremely touching and will never be forgotten. We will miss you terribly. May you rest in god's love.

You will be so missed, this is a story I tell about you, You were at the Vegas doing Steak night and u yelled for the cook to come out of the kitchen, u wanted to know if he still had his soles on his shoes because u were sure you were eating them. You have a wonderful family and started a wonderful legacy that will carry on forever. You no longer have to suffer for that I am glad!!!!! Rest in Peace now. To the family,
I am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed but glad to hear that she was surrounded by family during her last days.  It is so comforting for her to be able to be at home with family to peacefully get to the other side.  God has plans for her and she will be waiting with open arms in heaven. 
I have been out of touch for the past few years but remember working with her at Minnetonka Mocassin.  It was great that she lived so close because she would invite us over to her house for lunch.  She never missed a good party and made it to many events for my family throughout my adult life.
Keep her memories close to your heart and know that she is now at peace.

Here I go again, guess my first entry didn't make it.  Dee and I worked together at Steven Fabrics where we met and stayed for quite a few years.  We had lots of really good times together and I feel like one of the family. She made you feel like that, she was someone who just was always there for you, invited you into her life and oh how I will miss that.  When she found out about the cancer she had to have surgery and Chemo afterwards and was so positive I thought boy no one could ever match that, she woke up after surgery and wanted her viking blanket and the game turned on and next thing we knew she was up walking, incredible experience to watch her.  After a few months of Chemo she went back in and she had a real battle and one day it was ok and the next day it wasn't.  She really held on, such strength she had.  Then the family brought her home where she really wanted to be and you could see the peace fill her face.  She is with the Lord now and probably helping everyone up there now.  I will miss her so much and she will always be in my heart.  Thoughts and prayers out to her family and friends.  You will always be on my mind.  xxxx ooooo

Our family will always remember the kindess and laughter whenever we were around Dee, she was always kind and welcoming. Our thoughts are with you all.

I am so saddened to hear of Dee's passing. My deepest sympathy to the whole family at this time of grief. Dee helped me get the job at Minnetonka and was always so nice to me.

I met Dee Harris when we both worked at Steven Fabrics years ago together, I have to say she was one of a kind.  Everyone there would call her my mother in law and say here comes the mother in law and it became a joke.  If you knew her you never knew what to expect.  She could be so funny at times and giving and then there was another side sometimes which we all seem to have but to me she was a best friend.  We spent lots of time together and with all the other people we hung out with, that was when we still liked to party, boy there are some stories there but use your imagination unless you were in on it with us ha ha.  Then I will skip lots of parts and just go into her finding out she had cancer, she was so positive about it, they said they got it all and she had to do Chemo which was so hard on her and just when she was at the end of all that, back in the hospital again and this time it was a battle, she was in and out and we all watched this amazing women fight hard, the family took her home and there was peace on her face because that was something she wanted so bad was to go home.  God must have decided she had gone through enough and he took her home on Good Friday, one of her favorite days.  We will miss you so much and everything that you brought to each and every one of us and even though we are very sad we know you had to go.  I can see you know up in heaven trying to take care of everyone and doing all the things you loved to do.  Take care my friend and you are always in my heart and I will see you again someday.
