Our thoughts and prayers are with the Roberts family in celebrating the life of Harry. In my short time as a teacher and JV coach ar Brooklyn Center, I was fortunate enough to meet and be a friend of Harry. Knowing Bernice and Harry were very special in those four years. Harry was always so very positive, it's no accident that the entire Roberts family are such wonderful positive people. Indeed, Harry and his family enriched my life as a supportive fan and an encouraging parent. Harry will always be remembered as a person who had a positive impact on my life!

Dear Bernice, Kevin, Brian, and family,
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate Harry's life. I have been reflecting on all the wonderful memories the Finley's have of Harry and your family. It was Harry who stopped by our home one winter evening and told me I needed to be playing hockey up at Grandview. He was one of my first coaches. All the years he was faithfully there along the side boards cheering and encouraging all of us.
Bernice, Harry and you were special friends to my Mom and Dad. I remember my Dad coming home after our hockey games and telling Mom to keep her coat on because they were going to meet you two for a bite to eat. I know those were special times to have as you were all raising families together.  Kevin and Brian, we shared lots of fun memories playing hockey and other sports together.
Bernice, I still tell people there is no one who could make cinnamon rolls as good as yours. I shared with my Wayne, David, and Susan about all the years I worked in the lunchroom and got my lunches (and lots of extra food) free. They didn't remember that. I think Gary had done it and when I got there in 7th grade Mom told me to check into it, and I did it for the next six years. 
There are many good and special memories of Harry and all of your family.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Harry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. It's hard to lose a parent and husband of so many years, but just know he is in a better place. Cherish your memories!

My thoughts and prayers go out to you for your loss. I have many great memories of Harry cheering us at our BCHS sporting events. I also appreciate all Harry's hard work over the years on the Relay for Life, an important event for my family and for so many others.

Dear Bernice, Pat, Kathy,Kevin,Brian and Krissy. My thoughts have been full of memories of your father over the last two days. He was on the sidelines and in the snowbanks when I was an athlete at BC in the 60's. He was at my side when I began my coaching career in 1965. He was a great friend to my parents, along with Bernice.He was there cheering my sons on in the80's and 90's. He was at his spot on the endboards behind the glass when my coaching career came to an end in 2002. Harry had watched over me for 40 years. He was a special person to me and my family. I hope everything is good in the extended Roberts family, in this difficult time.

In Memory of My Friend Harry Roberts and With Sympathy to Harry's Family:

In 1973, I first met Harry.  I was the rookie BCHS hockey coach and his youngest was to play for me that season.  Brian was a joy and Harry was always a great supporter of the Centaurs.  For the next 39 years, he and I developed a wonderful friendship and relationship.  I feel very fortunate to have been able to call him my friend and like so many others, I was very, very lucky to have him in my life.  He was a good man...a good friend...and a good husband & dad.  Thanks for the memories Harry.  I will miss you.

Dear Bernice, Kevin and family -
I was so sorry to hear about Harry's death.  My thoughts have been with all of you as you deal with this loss.  My prayers will be with you all; specifically, that the good memories you all have of Harry's life will help you through this time of loss.  It was so good to look at all of the pictures in the gallery.....he looks so happy when surrounded by family.  Bernice - you and Harry were such wonderful friends to my parents, Tex and Ruth, over the years in Brooklyn Center when you were busy raising kids together.  Those were special times.  I can still see Harry along the sidelines at football games, and along the boards at hockey games; I can hear him cheering!   My brothers have many memories of Harry coaching. Kevin, hope all is well with you and your family; you were a good friend.  May God be with you and all of your family as you say good-bye and celebrate Harry's life on Monday at Hope.  Peace. We were saddened to hear of Harry's passing.  The times we met him he was always so friendly and kind.  Find comfort in your time together as you share your memories of Harry.
