Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Virginia; sisters Joan Hite and Marlene Saba; his wife Patricia Ann (Rice); and daughter Kathryn Sandholm.
Survived by his sister Beth; two sons, Kenneth and Joseph (Sheri); seven grandchildren: Sandra, Zach, Gabe, Madison, Josette, Joey, and Michael.
Born and raised in St. Paul. Class of 61’ St. Paul Central. Graduated from Dunwoody and St. Paul Vocational Electric School; 67’. Lifelong member of the Local 110 IBEW Electricians Union.
Dedicated his life to volunteering; Merriam Park Merriamettes, Union Steward for Local 110, long standing member of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, and Founding member for Hides for Habitat, 1988.
Known for his huge heart and dedication to service, Joe was loved and admired by the many lives he helped. He was an awesome dad and grandfather. He had a great love for Lake Washburn and especially deer. Whoever came across his path loved him.
