AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Karen Jean Boser

27 mai 1956 – 1 juillet 2025
Avis de décès de Karen Jean Boser
AUX SOINS DE

Sunset & Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home and Sunset Cemetery

Karen Jean Boser, of Mound, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on July 1st, 2025, at the age of 69.

Her unexpected passing leaves behind a heartache that words cannot fully express, but her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.

Karen was born to Vivian and Marlen Mork and grew up in St. Peter, Minnesota, where she later graduated from St. Peter Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Mankato State University, a testament to her sharp mind and lifelong curiosity.

She dedicated much of her professional life to education, serving for 22 years as the Administrative Secretary at Shirley Hills Primary School in Mound. There, she became a beloved fixture—not only for her reliability and tireless work ethic but for her warmth and compassion toward students, staff, and families alike.

Karen found her greatest joy in her family. She was the devoted wife of Jeff Boser, loving mother to Eric Boser (Jalyn), and the proudest grandma to Robyn and Luca, whom she adored with all her heart. She was a gentle, steady presence—the kind of grandma who baked with her grandkids, made sock puppets and clothes for their dolls, did crafts, and took them to the park—always engaged, always making things fun and memorable.

She is also survived by her brothers, Alan (Linda) and Brian, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She now joins in eternal rest her parents, Vivian and Marlen, and her sister, Sharon Syx.

Karen’s greatest gift was her heart. She was the kindest woman you could ever hope to meet—humble, generous, and full of grace. She loved quietly but fiercely, with actions that spoke louder than any words ever could. Whether tending to her flowers, getting lost in a good book, working on a puzzle, or simply spending time with her family, she found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life.

She leaves behind a legacy of genuine kindness, strength, and love for her family. Karen was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed deeply—every single day.

Rest in peace, Karen. Thank you for everything.

A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran, Wayzata, on July 26. Visitation at 12 p.m., service at 1 p.m.
