LaVerne was preceded in death by seven siblings.
She is survived by daughter, Jonell (Lawrence) Sawyer; sons, Jason Preese, Jerome (Dodi) Preese, and John (Sharon) Preese; grandchildren, Richard (Heather) Sawyer, Ryan Sawyer, Alicia (Algert) Prifti, Nina Preese, and Taylor Preese; four great grandsons, Lucas and Julian Sawyer and Artion and Arlind Prifti and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial service Thursday, August 14 1:00 pm at St. John’s the Baptist Church, 835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton. Gathering at noon with refreshments to follow service.
