Lorraine Holmbo, formerly a long-time resident of International Falls, MN, passed away in Centerville, MN. Lorraine married Dale Holmbo in March of 1948. They had three sons, Alan, Dwight and Gary. Lorraine was a homemaker and worked occasionally in a medical office. She was an avid fisherwoman and an animal lover.
In Lorraine's final years she lived at Atlas Villas Memory Care where she loved to laugh and sing. Staff lovingly called her "grandma." Lorraine stated what mattered most to her was family, whom ahw dearly loved and they loved her in return.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale and sons, Alan and Gary.
Lorraine is survived by her son, Dwight (Kathy) Holmbo and daughter-in-law, Candace Holmbo, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis at 11:00 am.
