Mary Fullerton

Mary graduated from Macalester College with a degree in teaching in 1954. She was a teacher in the White Bear Lake school district for 35 years. She loved children, which was a large part of why she chose to become a teacher. After retirement Mary enjoyed volunteering at her local church’s preschool and Sunday schools. Helping young people discover a passion for learning was her true joy in life. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. She owned several Boston Terriers over the course of her life and they brought her great joy! Mary was the mother of 2 sons. She was the proud grandmother to 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She also had many friends who will miss her dearly. Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband John “Jack” Fullerton and her parents Roy and Madeline Winkler. She is survived by sons Charles and John Fullerton, grandchildren, Erienne (Kevin) Schwarzbauer, Lauren Fullerton, Matthew Fullerton, Haleigh (Marquis Williams) Fullerton, great grandson Ethan Fullerton and by Stephanie Harnois.

The family invites you to join them in celebrating Mary’s life Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Visitation one hour prior to service, from 10 - 11 AM at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi, MN 55115. After the service, the family invites you to join them for a lunch at Donatellis, 2692 County Rd E White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Interment will be at 2 pm at Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville, MN.
