Phanny was born in California and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota. She participated in SkillsUSA and played the violin at John F. Kennedy High School. Phanny was a go-getter and earned a full scholarship to the University of Minnesota with the highest honors. In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Science. Her greatest aspiration was to become a doctor with a focus on child care. Her kindness truly had no boundaries, not only did she volunteer at Fairview Hospital but overseas in India too. Her interests included party planning, listening to country music, reading, traveling, and was a coffee connoisseur. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her mother. Preceded in death by her grandma, Soeun Phay. Survived by her mother, Naroeun Phay; brother, Timothy Phay; sister-in-law, Alyssa Phay; further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will begin at 11am on 12/02/2017 at the Sunset Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home (2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE Minneapolis). Interment Sunset Cemetery. www.SunsetFuneralServices.com
