Shortly after she was born the family moved to Hawthorne, California. Sheryl grew up there, graduated from high school, and later returned to the Twin Cities in the late 70's with her family.
She loved animals, especially cats. Her last pet was Boots, who she missed dearly after he passed away last year.
Sheryl worked through Opportunity Partners, services here in the metro for most of her adult years with NuSource being her favorite job lasting until retirement.
Sheryl resided in Brooklyn Center with a couple roommates supported by Mains'l Services.
She had two brothers, Kenny, who passed away in April of 2007 and John, who passed away in August of 2008.
Sheryl is survived by her father, Robert King, residing in Arizona, and sister, Rochelle Landry, residing in Minneapolis.
Thank you to the staff of Mains'l Services and North Memorial Hospice for their loving care. Sheryl will be missed by those close to her and remembered for her friendly demeanor.
