Betty was born February 22, 1936, in Vancouver but resided most of her life in Mission, BC. She made many friends in her community and congregation.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Len and son Bill.
She is survived by her children Jim, Trudy, Susan, Barbara, Debra, Mary and Doreen as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Betty loved to laugh, loved playing games like Crokinole, Dominoes and many, many hands of Oh Hell. There were also many card parties over the years where fun was had by all.
Her grandchildren have many fond memories of playing Crokinole with their Grammy.
While she enjoyed having fun, she was very studious. She faithfully did her Bible study every morning, even when she was on holiday. Her Bible was well loved and well worn. She was also faithful at her congregation meetings where she loved to participate, the last several years via Zoom. Betty loved her congregation and they loved her. They were a wonderful support for her in many ways and our family is eternally grateful.
Betty’s hope in the resurrection was solid, it gave her much comfort when she lost her husband and son and it provides us much comfort now with losing her.
As per mom’s request there will be no service. She simply asked that: “have a drink for me!”
See you soon mama. Get the cards shuffled. We love you.
