I remember working with Charles at the mail centre. He was always upbeat, I never heard him complain about anything. Seeing him at work in the winter in shorts on brought a smile to my face. He was a pleasure to work with and I shall miss him. We lost a very nice person much too early.

So sad to hear of Charles passing. He was a valued employee at Postal. He was the mainstay of the place and I depended on him often. He was one of the best, most reliable employees ever. I always considered him a friend. It was sad his illness, I had planed to see him but decided I wanted to remember him at his best. Condolences to his family. Good-bye Charles, rest in Peace.
Memories now, like tears in the rain.

Considering all the work Charles did taking pictures and fundraising for the organization I am surprised there was no career development for him and never a promotion. Wes Ferris’s mentions Charles contributions to the peace office memorial services but fails to mention that he was against the upward mobility to those positions and Charles was a a member of the CR group..

I was saddened to learn of Charles passing. I worked with Charles for several years and remember his omnipresent smile whenever I spoke with him. He loved sharing his work on photographs and I enjoyed going over his albums which he proudly shared with folks. He will always be remembered for his kindness for sure. Rest in peace my friend.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Charles’s passing. I was fortunate to have worked with Charles at the Customs Mail Center and always enjoyed hearing his stories of his latest road trip that he took in his trusted Ford Taurus. I will always remember his photos, the CMC franchise hockey pool and his smile. Our thoughts go out to Charles’s family, no words can describe how sorry we are for your loss. We pray that God will grant you strength through this most difficult time. Our deepest and most sincere condolences.

When you walk into our home, the first thing you see is a Charles Roadhouse photograph. I was fortunate to have learned the secret of his self-funded-then-donated work and made it a personal mission to at least get his film paid for. Generous is an understatement. Such strong will, with a soft soul.
I have an awesome photo of Charles at an awards event. He is dressed in a suit as he was an award recipient. The best part of this photo is that he is laughing - you see the sparkle - and yes, of course he had his camera ready.
Good luck getting God to pose for you :)
Condolences to all of Charles' loved ones.

Gail and Family, I like others that worked with Charles am very sad to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful human being, and the world would be a better place with more like Charles. I hope that these comments and memories of Charles will help in your healing.
