She was born on September 9, 1928 in Turner Siding, Alberta. Ethel homesteaded in Battle Lake, Alberta before moving and farming in Langley, BC. She lived in Vancouver and worked at VGH until her retirement in 1983 at which time she and John moved to Mission, BC.
Mom and Dad spent many happy years volunteering with various organizations in Mission.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband John in 2005. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Terry) and Ron (Wendy); grandchildren, Cheryl, Pamela, Shawn and Megan as well as six great grandchildren.
A Private family gathering for interment will be held at Hatzic Cemetery at a later date.
