Gordon Vincent Thomas Dalton

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Gordon Vincent Thomas Dalton on March 27, 2022 in Mission, British Columbia after an eight year battle with dementia at the young age of 69 years old.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years Lois, his brothers Grant (Mo) Gary; son, Jeffrey (Dawn) daughter, Trisha; his cherished grandchildren, Aydra (Chris), Hailey, Sydney and Nolan, and his great grandson, Kohen; Steve Gamble (brother-in-law), Ruth Bomberry (Brandon) (sister-in-law), Sandra Thomas (sister-in-law), Greg Thomas (brother-in-law) deceased, Liza Hill (Barry) (sister-in-law) and many friends, cousins and relatives from Ontario and British Columbia.

He retired from Coast Mountain Bus Company in 2007 after 35 years as a transit operator. He will be fondly remembered for his love of his family and his dogs, longhaired german shepherds, Shelby, Jade and Amber. He was a funny guy always telling jokes. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, playing baseball, photography, fishing and was an awesome cook. We will truly miss him.

The family is arranging a Celebration of Life to be held at the Mission Springs Restaurant and Bar on April 23, 2022 between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of British Columbia or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
