He is lovingly remembered by his father Herman Dan I; sisters Martha, Rita (Keith); brothers Jeff (Amanda), Keith (Beryl); sons Herman S. Dan III (Lisa), Joshua J.B. Dan (Winona) and Cyrus Dan; daughters Cynthia A.M. Sam and Stacey B.H. Dan; grandchildren April Pennier Dan, Sadie Pylypuik-Sam, Noah Sam and Suzanne Dan-Joe as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is predeceased by his mother Mary Ellen Dan and brother Jackson J.D. Dan.
