

Our Mother was born on April 25, 1937 in the city of Amacuautitlan, Jalisco Mexico to her parents Juana Hernandez and
Erculano Guardado.
She was the 5th sibling of 10 brothers and sisters, Lucas, Virginia, Luz, Jesus, Feliciano, Guadalupe, Aurora, Gabriel and Josefina.
Our mother was married to Felix Pelayo in El Limon, Jalisco Mexico on April 6, 1953. They had 11 children together.
She was a woman of faith, She served her parish, Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Church, for the prayer group Rayos De paz for 15 years.
She was a strong, Kind, Loving and humble soul. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, Cooking and Praying the rosary. She thought of others before herself, giving shelter and comfort to others in need.
She fought a battle with Lymphoma for 8 years.
Herminia will be remembered by her children: Maria Del Rosario, Alicia, Manual, Ana, Arturo, Beatriz, Cesar, Arnulfo, Lilia, Hector and Julie.
She is also survived by her 31 Grandchildren and her 24 Great-Grandchildren.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-Grandmother, a housewife most of her life, a woman of great faith who cared for all of her family.
Her favorite passage of the Bible is Psalm23.
"The lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in still pastures. He leads me besides still water. He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Even though I walk the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me in Al the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever"
