Aurora Perez, 82, of Mission, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2025. She was born in Alice, Texas, on September 14, 1943. Aurora was a loving mother and grandmother whose life was grounded in faith, family, and the simple joys shared with others. She was active in her church home at Baptist Temple in McAllen and enjoyed participating in Senior Ambassador events, where she formed meaningful friendships and stayed connected to her community. She also loved playing Skibo and always looked forward to attending Camp Zephyr, experiences that brought her laughter, companionship, and happy memories through the years.
Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, Cesario and Mercedes Perez; her sister, Maria Angelica Rivera; and her brothers, Cesario “Chalo” Perez, Jr., and Jose Maria “Chema” Perez.
She is survived by her sons, Carlos Villalon, Jr. (Marisela) and Javier Villalon; her brother, Juan Manuel Perez; and her cherished granddaughter, Victoria “Tori” Elizabeth Villalon.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 2pm to 9pm with a service in chapel at 6pm led by Baptist Temple Ministry.
