Avelia nació el 26 de noviembre de 1936, hija de Ismael Adame Garza y Doris Flores Gómez.

Avelia fue una hija, esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga amorosa.

Avelia le sobreviven su amado esposo con quien estuvo casada por 63 años, Manuel J. Sandoval Cambranis; sus hijos, Georgina Sandoval Adame, José Ismael Sandoval Adame, Gabriela Sandoval Adame y Víctor Manuel Sandoval Adame; sus nietos, Georgina, Alejandro, Andrea, Gabriela, Alejandra y Luca; sus bisnietos, Roberta, Tiago, Lucas, Lola y Gianna Paula.

Avelia era una mujer de inmensa calidez, amabilidad y dedicación. Se esmeró siempre de cuidar su hogar y a su familia, creando un espacio lleno de amor y hospitalidad para todos.

Cocinera experta y apasionada, era conocida por sus deliciosos platos yucatecos, norteños etc. que preparaba con amor y compartía con sus seres queridos. Sus platillos no eran solo comida, eran una expresión de amor y una conexión con sus seres queridos.

Más allá de la cocina, Avelia tenía un espíritu creativo y era conocida por su amor a la naturaleza, siempre encontrando formas de traer belleza y alegría a su hogar. Tenía una habilidad notable para alegrar cualquier habitación con su presencia, y su profundo amor por el prójimo que reflejaba su corazón generoso.

Amaba a todos los que la rodeaban, asegurándose de que todos se sintieran bienvenidos, cuidados y valorados.

Avelia también tenía una relación profunda con Dios en la cual encontró paz y fortaleza en su fe. Su legado de amor, compasión y fe seguirá inspirando a quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla y a todos sus descendientes.

Su familia y amigos le decimos “Hasta Luego” y sabemos que el Amor entre nosotros es nuestro gran Lazo.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Avelia Adame de Sandoval, who passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025.

Avelia was born on November 26, 1936, the daughter of Ismael Adame Garza and Doris Flores Gómez.

Avelia was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Manuel J. Sandoval Cambranis; her children, Georgina Sandoval Adame, José Ismael Sandoval Adame, Gabriela Sandoval Adame, and Víctor Manuel Sandoval Adame; her grandchildren, Georgina, Alejandro, Andrea, Gabriela, Alejandra, and Luca; and her great-grandchildren, Roberta, Tiago, Lucas, Lola, and Gianna Paula.

Avelia was a woman of immense warmth, kindness, and dedication. She always took great care of her home and family, creating a space filled with love and hospitality for all.

An expert and passionate cook, she was known for her delicious Yucatecan and Northern-style dishes, which she prepared with love and shared with her loved ones. Her meals were not just food; they were an expression of love and a way to connect with those around her.

Beyond cooking, Avelia had a creative spirit and a deep love for nature, always finding ways to bring beauty and joy into her home. She had a remarkable ability to brighten any room with her presence, and her profound love for others reflected her generous heart.

She loved everyone around her, always ensuring that they felt welcome, cared for, and valued.

Avelia also had a deep relationship with God, finding peace and strength in her faith. Her legacy of love, compassion, and faith will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her and all her descendants.

Her family and friends say, "See you later," knowing that the love between them is their greatest bond.
