Belinda, or Bel, as she was known by family and close friends, was such a light in this sometimes-dark world and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations. During her time with us, she made it a point to always reach out to people and help others whenever she could. She could make anything beautiful whether it was a home, a garden, an event, an outfit. Whatever she touched somehow lit up, especially her relationships. Anyone who knew Belinda, knows that her family and friends meant everything to her.
Her love of life was evident in the way that she lived. She didn’t waste any time sitting around but instead would be outside creating a beautiful garden or walking her dogs or spending time with friends and family. Our lives will be different now without her planning activities for us or buying us thoughtful keepsakes that she knew we would like. Always a faithful follower of Christ, you were the Godmother of so many nieces and nephews, you brought so many people closer to Jesus through how you lived your own life. You were always honest, brave, and positive.
Belinda, we hope you knew how much you mean to us and how we will cherish, forever, the memories you gave us. You were always there to remind us of the beauty that was all around us and helped us to be stronger. You poured into our lives through your actions, time, and grace. You never gave up on anyone but instead were loyal to the very end. For us, you have been the light that shines from a lighthouse, visible in all conditions, providing stability and direction. Just as it guides us through the storms, it still glows when all is well, consistently leading the way forward.
Until we meet again...
