She was preceded in death by her husband Joaquin Hernandez; and by her parents Wenceslao and Modesta Farias.
She is survived by her brother W.C.Farias, a U.S. Army Veteran; and by her nieces and nephews Elvia Faria, Luis Avila, Nicolas Farias W.C. Farias Jr., Ramiro Farias and Ruby Farias.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in La Joya at 10:00 am by Father Jorge. Burial of ashes will follow at the Sullivan City Cemetery.
