Francisco Xavier De Leon

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose De Leon and his sister, Maria Antonia De Leon de Contreras.

Xavier was born to Jose and Ana Maria in 1942. In February 1967, he married Maria Guadalupe, and together they raised three children, Francisco Xavier Jr. (Aurelia), Edna Dinora (Alex) and Hector Gustavo (Araceli). Xavier was fondly known as “Guelo” to his grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Andrew, Francisco X. III, Kayla, Ximena, Hector, Alex Jr. and Elysha. He instilled good values in his children and grandchildren.

He lived a long full life as a wonderful father, husband, friend and a hard-working man. He was a welder by trade, business owner, auto mechanic, and lastly worked at H-E-B for 18 years and retired in 2022. Xavier was known for his infectious laugh, smile and sense of humor and his compassion for helping others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

The visitation for Francisco X. De Leon will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 4pm at Funeraria Del Angel. The burial will be held on April 13, 2023, time pending due to burial mass.
