Gregorio C. Cantu

Mission, TX - On Thursday, April 26, 2018 Gregorio (Goyo, Greg) Cantu was welcomed to his new address in HEAVEN to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He came to Christ later in life and became a God-fearing man who loved his Bible. He will forever be remembered by his legacy as a loving, hard-working husband and fun-loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed but has left us a beautiful path of memories and love. Our hearts are filled with hope that we will one day see our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son and Brother in heavenly streets of gold.

He is preceded in death by his father Miguel Cantu. Mr. Gregorio Cantu leaves behind his strong-knit family including his wife of 50 years, Maria Arcelia Cantu; his three children: Alberto (Hilda) Cantu, Griselda (Ernest) Garza, Adrianna (Raul) Duberney; his 10 grandchildren, Tiffany Cantu, Kitana Garza, Alberto Cantu, Alyssa Cantu, Brandon Duberney, Sienna Garza, Jubilee Garza, Jonathan Duberney, Berlyn Garza and Aayden Duberney; his mother Elvia Cantu; five sisters Odilia (Juan Elias) Cantu, Adelina (Conrado) Rios, Yolanda Cantu, Dora Cantu, Norma (David) Wise, one brother Eliseo (Patricia) Cantu; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will take place Monday, April 30, 2018 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Remembrance .

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:00am at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Remembrance. Burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573.
