Irma Yolanda Vela

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Irma Yolanda Vela, who left us on April 11, 2026 at the age of 87. She was a beloved Mother and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on August 7, 1938 in Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon MX, Irma Yolanda Vela was the child of Juan Salinas & Ernesta Salinas. Throughout her life, Irma Yolanda Vela was known for being a dedicated loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She devoted her time and energy to her Husband, 4 Children, 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She loved gardening, taking care of her birds and playing bingo in her free time.

She is survived with deep sorrow by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, and many more family and friends.

Irma Yolanda Vela was preceded in death by her Husband Eliud Vela, her parents Juan Salinas & Ernesta Salinas, siblings Juan Antonio Salinas, Ernestina Cantu, Angelina Salinas.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Irma Yolanda Vela's life on April 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM, to be held at 3611 N. Taylor Rd. Mission, TX 78573.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Irma Yolanda Vela’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
