

Jose Manuel was born May 7th, 1950 to Mariano Garza & Paula Guerra Garza.
Jose Manuel is survived by his loving daughters: Melinda (Luis) Mendoza, Laura L. (Robert) Rosales, Rebecca (Mario) Calderon, Brianna Garza. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, his siblings, Enrique Garza, Maria Elena (Greg) Rivera, Mary Sanchez, Gilbert Garza, Oralia (Raul) Ugalde. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Jose Manuel is preceded in death by His Father Mariano Garza, His Mother Paula Guerra Garza, His Brother Robert Garza, His Son Jose Manuel Garza Jr., His Step-Son Eduardo Escobedo.
Jose Manuel enjoyed life, family members and many friends. Jose Manuel was always there to brighten the lives of others.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me on that day and not only me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing” 2 Timothy, Chapter 4: 7-8.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but we are comforted in knowing that he is resting in peace with our Lord.
He will be missed, but not forgotten!!

Visitation will be on Friday, February 18th, 2022 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be 11:30 am on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, TX. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, Taylor Rd.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted under the care of Funeraria del Angel.
