MCALLEN- Laureano Ochoa, 92, left to be with the Lord on December 17, 2020 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born to Tomas Ochoa and Antonia Garza on October 4, 1928 in Granjeno, Texas. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife: Maria Orfelinda Ochoa; their children: Irma (†Esteban) Salinas; Laureano (Irene) Ochoa Jr. and Elsa (Dr. Ramiro E. Verdooren). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Yanette (Eddie), Steven David, Larry (Sylvia), Laura (Ahmed) Ramiro Enrique and Emilio; great-grandchildren: Sebastian and Alexandra; siblings: †Reynaldo (†Maria) Ochoa, Paula (Leobardo) Longoria, Oralia (†Jose Angel) Gonzalez, Aurora (Sigifredo) Perez, Martha (†Abel) Martinez, Eva (Tomas) De Leon and Rafael (Emma) Ochoa. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 3 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 12 pm at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel of Mission.
