Leandra was born February 10, 1926 in Las Carretas NL México to +Cesario Rodriguez and +Rosa Cuellar. Leandra was preceded in death by her husband +Juan Mata. She is also preceded in death by her brother +Dolores Rodriguez and Sister +Anastacia Rodriguez . She was a devout Catholic, devoted wife, and loyal homemaker.
Leandra is survived by 8 children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Among all her children she was loved by many Tias, sobrinas and sobrinos.
Besides spending time with her family, she was a frequent traveler to Linares, NL Mexico. She loved gardening, taking care of her pets and was an amazing, generous cook. She touched so many lives with her generosity.
Viewing for Leandra R Mata will be held Tuesday Jan 25, 2022 from 2pm-9pm with Rosary at 7pm at Funereria Del Angel Mission Texas. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday January 26, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 2201 Martin Ave, McAllen TX and Burial will follow at 11:00am At Valley Memorial Gardens.
