Leonard "Boss" De Los Santos Sr.

Leonardo De Los Santos Sr., lovingly known as “Boss” to many and “Grandpa Bossy” to his grandchildren, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, at the age of 85. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Leonardo’s life was rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

Born on November 6, 1939, Leonardo spent his life dedicated to the land, farming everything from corn to cotton with unmatched passion and perseverance. His days started early. He was a proud morning person and were often filled with the sounds and smells of a good BBQ, surrounded by friends, family, and laughter.

Leonardo was married to the love of his life, Josefina De Los Santos, for 63 wonderful years. Together, they built a strong and loving family. He is survived by his children: Leonard De Los Santos Jr. (Maria), Richard De Los Santos (Kris Ann), and Andrew De Los Santos. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Leonard III, Andrew Anthony, Victoria Maria, Drew, Richard Xavier, and Andrew Jacob, as well as his great-grandchildren: Ellieana Victoria, Daniel Alberto, Gabriel Robert, Allison Raelynn, Elijah Isaiah, Cora Lee, and Olivia Emmanuelle.

A man of deep faith, Leonardo was a faithful churchgoer who lived his beliefs every day through kindness, humility, and service. He had a big heart and an even bigger presence, known for his wisdom, his strength, and the way he brought people together.

He loved watching Westerns and football, always with a sparkle in his eye and a story ready to share. To know him was to love him..

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
