

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert H. Eagon and Shirley M. Eagon. Because they were a Military family, Linda attended many different schools all around the country. She graduated from Irvin High School in El Paso, Texas and the University of Texas, El Paso where she earned a degree in anthropology.
Linda married Ruben Iguaran on January 2, 2007. They started their lives together in Aguascalientes, Mexico then moved to Shanghai, China, Athens, Georgia and finally to McAllen, Texas.
Linda was past president of the Valley Newcomers Club and participated in various square dance groups.
Linda will be remembered for her love of bright colors, her warm smile and her genuine friendliness. She loved country western dancing, square dancing, home decorating, gardening, birds, her pets and creating many different forms of art. She and Ruben traveled the world and especially loved cruising. One of her greatest joys was dancing with her husband.
She is survived by her husband Ruben, sisters Jane Collins and Mary Vickers, her stepchildren, step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at the family home in McAllen on Sunday, March 6th from 2-4 pm.
