Miguel Heraclio Bernal

Miguel Heraclio Bernal Peña, born on December 16, 1961, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born to Salvador Bernal and Olga Peña and lived a life defined by kindness, patience, and devotion to those he loved. Miguel was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Olga.

Miguel was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He shared 41 loving years of marriage with his wife, Maria Dolores Bernal, caring for her and their family with unwavering dedication. He was the proud father of two daughters, Marisa Becker (Adam Becker) and Zenett Bernal (Sergio Salazar Barrera), and a joyful grandparent to his four cherished “grand pups” — Murphy, Crowley, Ickis, and Oblina — whom he adored. Miguel is also survived by his siblings: Marisa Morales, Juan Bernal, Jesus Bernal, Jose Bernal, and Olga Ramos.

A true handyman and talented mechanic, Miguel could fix just about anything. He was known for his patience, gentle spirit, and great sense of humor, never quick to anger and always compassionate and understanding. He loved listening to rock and roll, especially tuning in to 94.5 The Rock Station. Miguel found joy in life’s simple pleasures — gardening and tending to his plants, fishing, weekend barbecues, and cooking for those he loved. An active and adventurous soul, he loved animals, cherished time with family, and embraced each day with gratitude and warmth.

Miguel will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his loving heart, steady presence, and the many lives he touched with his generosity and care.
