Refugia Perez

She was devoted to her family and her firm believe in God. She was born in Veracruz, Mexico to Urban Tapia Aguilar and Macrina Beltran Tapia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Luis Perez and son-in-law Robert Granados.

She is survived by her children sons, Jose Luis (Marivel) Perez of Alton, Ruben Perez of Palmhurst, Roel (Milagro) Perez of Palmhurst ; daughters San Juanita (Robert) Granados of Alton, Maria Leticia (Osnel) Hernandez of Alton, Belinda (Delbert) Killinger of Alton, and 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.

The Perez family wish to give a special thanks to our Mother’s nurses Michael and Erica from Solara Specialty Hospital 8th floor(McAllen Medical) of McAllen. The work each of you performed and the constant concern you showed to our mother’s care will always be remembered and appreciated.

For individuals wishing to be a part of Refugia’s life. Visitations will be held on March 8 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. Prayer service will be at 7:00 pm. Service will be streamed via Facebook live link FunerariaDelAngel.com. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at El Buen Pastor Church in Mission at 10:00 am. Burial ceremony will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission,Texas at 11:00 am.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus the Perez family asking and encouraging as much possible social distancing and please wear a mask.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
