Rodolfo Escobedo Jr.

Rodolfo Escobedo 64 was born on July 20, 1947, and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 20, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents Rodolfo Escobedo and Ramona M. Escobedo, Grandfather, Carmen Menchaca, Grandmother Felicitas Menchaca, son, Ruben Escobedo, and grandchildren Robyn and Ana Lisa Escobedo.

He is survived by his Daughter, Christina Valladares (Norman), and Son, Rudy Escobedo (Ilene), his Sisters, Janie Cortez(Abel), Sylvia Martinez (Jesse), Norma L. Paez (Jess) and Lilly Escobedo, and his brothers Jesus Escobedo (America) and Javier Escobedo (Narda).

He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Rodolfo loved his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed working on Soduku puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid reader of current news. He played the guitar, accordion and loved to sing.

Visitation will be held Friday July 22, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel 3611 N. Taylor Rd in Mission, Texas from 1:00 pm to 9:00pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday July 23 at 10:00am at St. Joseph the Worker in McAllen. Interment to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission, Texas. Pallbearers, Javier Escobedo, Jesus Escobedo, Abel Cortez, Jesus Paez, Jesse Paez and Jesse Escobedo.
