Rosa Maria Calderon De De Leon

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Maria Calderon De De Leon, at the age of 68, on February 11, 2025. Born on March 21, 1956, Rosa was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Rosa was a vibrant woman whose love for life and family shone through in everything she did. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Miguel Angel De Leon. Rosa leaves behind a cherished legacy of love and laughter and is survived by her children: Blanca E. Avena, Nora E. Leal, Juan M. De Leon, Eliud Cesar De Leon, and Ricardo De Leon. Her 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren were the center of her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Rosa also leaves behind her dear sisters, Hermelinda Yanez and Olivia Mata, and her brother, Reynaldo Garza.

In her spare time, Rosa enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—whether it was playing bingo with friends and family or trying her luck at the slot machines. Above all, she was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.

Her warm heart, infectious laughter, and deep love for her family will be forever missed.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. The visitation will continue Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A Funeral will occur Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A burial will occur Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78572.
