Sylvia was a wife, mother, sister, and caring friend to all that knew her. Many know that she loved to sing to anyone at any given moment. She was a strong woman that helped her husband built up his business by working hard by his side, while still raising her family at home. She was a God-fearing woman that always gave inspiring and encouraging word to family, friends, or strangers along the way. In her lifetime, she served the Lord and her family with a strong spirit and a giving heart.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Javier Garcia; daughters, Elizabeth Garcia-Renteria, Darleen Garcia; grandchildren, Natalie Garcia, Ashley Garcia, Zeleste Rebeca Garcia, Elijah Renteria, Eliseo Renteria; sisters, Rebeca Reyes, Juana Reyes, Dora Reyes-Hayashi, Diana Reyes-Dominguez; brothers, Lorenzo Reyes, Jr., Jose Angel Reyes; and numerous extended family and friends.
Sylvia was preceded in death by father Lorenzo Reyes, Sr.; mother Raquel Reyes; brother Antonio Reyes; brother Marcos Reyes; half brother Robert Reyes and sister Maria Raquel Reyes.
A visitation for Sylvia will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
The funeral service will take place Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, with the burial will to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
The Facebook Live Stream Funeral Service for Sylvia will be on Sept. 14, 2020 at 7:00 PM and Sept. 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM.
To comply with the current county mandate, masks are required to enter the building and social distancing is recommended.
