It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris who unexpectedly passed away in Laguna Niguel, California on Sunday July 28, 2024. He was born to George and Mona Gilfillan and spent his childhood growing up in Boise, Idaho. Chris lived the majority of his adult life in California. Chris was employed in the Construction Industry working both domestically and internationally during his lifetime.
Chris was a loving son, brother and cousin. He was a family protector, guardian, caregiver, best friend and partner. He enjoyed boating, skiing, hiking and traveling to far off places. He was a good man and will be greatly missed by those that loved him.
Chris is survived by his father George W Gilfillan, sister Dana Zatica, brother Brett Gilfillan (wife Jodi), cousin Lisa Costanza, very dear friend Sheila Neck and many nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded by his mother, Mona Gilfillan (April 2022).
