Jose Rodino Mendoza Vestil, affectionately called Dindin/Denden by his family and closest friends and Rodney to his professional peers, suddenly passed away on August 17, 2021 at age 56. He would have turned 57 years old on September 12 as he was born in 1964 in Cebu City, Philippines.
His father, Rosendo (deceased 1989), immigrated to the United States in 1977. Dindin, at age 16, along with his three siblings and mother, followed suit in 1980.
He was very successful in his career in the packaging machine industry as a Senior/Master Field Service Technician, traveling both domestically and internationally for job assignments. He recently celebrated 25 years of employment at BW Flexible Systems, where he was liked and respected by both his peers and clientele.
A stylish, hip and trendy dresser when off work, natural dancer, gifted singer, jokester and storyteller, Dindin was the life of any party. He was self-taught and fluent in Spanish, which served him well in his profession. An avid collector of colognes, he never missed buying the newest release in the market from the duty free shops at the airport when he was on international job assignments.
Dindin is survived by his two sons, Kurt (26) and Sean (22), his mother Purita (85), his brothers Ronido/Ron (60) and Ronilo/Nilo (53), and his sister Pureza/Yeye (50), who will all miss him dearly.
In the end, Dindin was the best dad any child could ever have, the best son a parent could want, and the best brother and friend to any sibling.
May he rest in peace.
