Kimberly Ann Marconi

Kim was born on April 26, 1961 to parents Dick and Dorothy Marconi in Indiana. Shortly after, the Marconi family moved to California where their family blossomed and she found her love of horses.

With her loving father providing guidance through her journey, Kim would often be found traveling the country competing with her horses in Hunters and Jumpers as a teenager; where she earned both championship level victories and lifelong friends.

Kim married her husband Daniel De Tour in 1984, and together they brought two beautiful children into this world. Daughter Jessica De Tour in 1985 and son Nico De Tour in 1988. Kim's steadfast dedication to motherhood and raising her children helped them grow into incredible adults. Her words of wisdom and lessons of life would forever impact her children as they begin to raise their own.

In 2001 she helped her daughter arrive at her own successful path with horses in the Olympic sport of Reining horses; where she passed on her love and experience of the competitive circuit. The two of them enjoyed countless road trips across the country and experiences as they competed on a national level.

Kim carried a can-do, undefeatable, positive, relentless, never give up, go big or go home, and loving attitude with her wherever she went. She would always be the first to point out the positive even in the toughest of situations. Her character and personality brought her success in both her business ventures and her life.

Kim enjoyed the beauty of life by taking the time to be present in the moment with frequent trips to the Southern California beaches to relax with the waves and sun, a welcomed reprieve.

Kim is survived by her daughter Jessica, son Nico, his wife Angelina and their daughter Elliana. Brother John Marconi and his wife Michelle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and steadfast friends.

May her memory be eternal by always speaking her name in kindness and telling her story while looking for the beauty that is in this world.
